Where Onion Is Grown in Haryana
The main onion districts of Haryana are Hisar, Jind, Nuh, Gurugram. Haryana is a major contributor of wheat and paddy to the central pool, and its Karnal, Kaithal and Kurukshetra districts grow much of India's basmati. It also grows mustard, bajra, cotton, barley and sugarcane, and hosts national research institutes in Karnal and Hisar.
