About Jowar
Jowar (sorghum) is the bhakri and rotti grain of the Deccan. Rabi jowar gives white food grain, while kharif jowar and lower grades go to feed, starch and alcohol, and its stalks are valued fodder.

The main jowar districts of Madhya Pradesh are Khargone, Dhar, Badwani, Chhindwara. Madhya Pradesh is India's soybean state and one of its largest producers of wheat, chana, masoor, urad, garlic, coriander and isabgol.
