How It Is Made
Pods are shelled, kernels are graded by count, hand-picked or machine-sorted for defects, and packed. Peanut butter is made by roasting and grinding kernels.

Export buyers in Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand; snack makers; and households buying peanut butter.
Quality and Standards
Kernels are graded by count per ounce and tested for aflatoxin. Exporters must register with IOPEPC.

Gujarat is the main export base, shipping through Mundra and Kandla.
