About Linseed
Linseed (alsi, flaxseed) is a winter oilseed whose oil is used in paints, varnishes and linoleum and, increasingly, as an omega-3 health food.

The main linseed districts of Chhattisgarh are Bilaspur, Raigarh, Kabirdham. Chhattisgarh is called the rice bowl of India.
