About Wheat

Wheat is India's main winter cereal and the second-largest food grain after rice. It is milled into atta for rotis, maida for bakeries and suji for sweets and pasta, and India is the world's second-largest producer.

Where Wheat Is Grown in Punjab

The main wheat districts of Punjab are Ludhiana, Sangrur, Bathinda, Patiala, Firozpur, Moga.
