Raisins (kishmish) are dried grapes, made mainly in Sangli and Tasgaon in Maharashtra and Vijayapura in Karnataka.
How It Is Made
Seedless grapes are dipped in a drying oil emulsion and dried in shade sheds on wire racks for about two weeks, then cleaned, graded and cold-stored.
