About Bajra
Bajra (pearl millet) is the hardiest of India's grains, grown on sandy soils with very little rain. It is a winter staple in the north-west and is now sold nationwide as a nutritious millet.

The main bajra districts of Madhya Pradesh are Morena, Bhind, Gwalior, Shivpuri. Madhya Pradesh is India's soybean state and one of its largest producers of wheat, chana, masoor, urad, garlic, coriander and isabgol.
